Transforming Grief into Growth

This workshop provides a space for participants to explore the multifaceted nature of grief and loss and encourages them to view their grief as an opportunity for growth. It delves into the personal and shared experiences of grief, illustrating how stories and storytelling can be a powerful tool for healing. And can be used to transform their experiences into sources of strength and connection.

Learning Outcomes/Objectives:
Explore lessons learned from grief/loss and challenging situations.
Discover the benefits of sharing and listening to stories of grief.
Develop skills to transform grief into personal growth and deeper connections.
Utilize storytelling and writing as tools for processing emotions and preserving memories.
Gain practical tools for supporting oneself and others in grief.

Who is this for?
This workshop is suitable for individuals at all levels and at any stage of their grief journey, from those new to grief to those who have been navigating it for years, whether experiencing personal or professional loss, and for those looking to support others in their grief.
How will the learning take place?
The session will include a mix of lecture, group discussions, small group activities, and guided writing exercises. Participants will listen to reading excerpts, share stories, engage in reflective practices, and create a supportive community for healing.
