SMART Goals

Smart Goals

The SMART Goals approach utilizes behavior-based science and principles of human motivation to provide clarity, focus, and motivation to increase the probability of achieving a goal.

This “hands-on” workshop will allow participants to create meaningful and effective SMART goals in real time as we take a process-oriented, step-by-step approach to exploring the functionality of SMART goals and what makes them so effective.

Participants will utilize behavior mapping techniques and a SMART Goal Development Guide to prioritize, develop, and implement SMART goals in both personal and professional settings. Participants will be able to apply knowledge and skills developed in this workshop to personal goals, department, team and project goals, as well as to employee Individual Development Plans and performance evaluations.
