Teamwork Across Generations - Navigating Communication Divides in the Modern Workplace

 On the CSU's diverse campuses, effectively communicating and collaborating across generations is crucial for fostering teamwork. Research has consistently shown that different generations tend to have distinct communication styles and preferences, and Teamwork Across Generations is crucial because it enables these different age groups, each with unique experiences, to collaborate effectively.

Join CSU's Got Talent on March 13th as Dr. Nicole Rankine delves into the dynamics of intergenerational communication to better understand the distinct preferences and values of the different generations represented on our campuses. This will in turn help to bridge the communication divide between generations, fostering a more inclusive and dynamic campus working community.

Dr. Nicole Rankine, affectionately known as Dr. Nic, is one of the most engaging certified Leadership Trainers and Personal Growth Coaches around. She is a John Maxwell Team Leadership Consultant and a DISC Human Behavior Consultant who helps organizational leaders grow both professionally and personally, teaching proven principles and practices of leadership development, personal growth, and communication.

Dr. Nic's combined professional career spans over 20 years in the federal government and academia. She now travels both nationally and internationally teaching soft skills to leaders and students worldwide. Dr. Rankine also serves as an Adjunct Professor and is the author of Adulting In My Purpose the Journal, a journal designed to help young adults with their personal growth and professional development.
