Navigating Back to School
Back to school has a whole new meaning this year. The complexities can feel overwhelming as we strive to provide Humboldt students – and our own kids – a positive educational and social experience. We got this!
Humboldt is offering a variety of resources to support your success. HR will be announcing our fall schedule of training sessions at the end of August, and will feature series on leadership, supervision, and connection to community. We are also preparing to launch a new Facebook group to connect Humboldt parents to resources, ideas, and each other (keep an eye on University Notices about this!). On the Training website you can also find classes on diversity, equity and inclusion; technology; and other campus offerings.
The Center for Teaching and Learning is facilitating Professional Development Days August 17-18, with a focus on preparing faculty for instructional continuity. Also check out Humboldt’s Campus Ready website, where you can find up to date information on campus re-opening and other important issues.
“Under any circumstance, always do your best, no more and no less. But keep in mind that your best is never going to be the same from one moment to the next...” (From The Four Agreementsby Don Miguel Ruiz – read more here.)
