Mindful Facilitation: Cross Cultural Facilitation Training
Lee Mun Wah, of StirFry Consulting will be conducting a class in Mindful Facilitation: Cross Cultural Facilitation, a virtual training on Friday, October 22 and Friday, October 29, at 9am-1pm each day.
Join this 8-hour training equipping Humboldt faculty, staff, administration, and student leaders in the methods and mindsets to mindfully facilitate cross cultural dialogue and learning experiences. The event is lead by Lee Mun Wah, the founder and Executive Director of StirFry Seminars & Consulting, an internationally renowned Chinese American documentary filmmaker, author, poet, Asian folkteller, educator, community therapist and master diversity trainer. He provides educational tools and workshops on issues pertaining to cross-cultural communication and awareness, mindful facilitation, and conflict mediation techniques
NOTE: Please register ahead of time. All participants who complete the two day training will receive a certificate.

However, truly assertive communication can be difficult to identify since people often confuse assertiveness with aggression. During this workshop, we will explore what it means to be assertive and discuss strategies for incorporating and practicing this important skill in your professional life.
