Goal

Sexual harassment training will provide at least two hours of interactive training with a focus on federal and state statutory provisions, prevention and correction of sexual harassment and remedies available to victims.

Who

All supervisory/oversight responsibilities in the CSU must be considered, including state-funded positions that oversee student employees, staff or other employees, as well as grant-funded positions (e.g., faculty overseeing employees working on grants through SPF).  Volunteer faculty (no paid position) who are overseeing employees are not required to complete the training. All Department Chairs should be marked as supervisors, since, by definition of their positions, they provide employee oversight.

Why

Under Cal. Govt. Code § 12950.1, each Campus shall provide supervisory Employees at least two hours of interactive Sexual Harassment training.

When

Within six months of beginning your supervisory assignment, and every two years after that.
